Ireland Day 5 - Blarney Castle, Cork & Kinsale

Probably the biggest disappoint on our trip was the Blarney Castle.  OK more specifically the disappointment was the long line (2 hr wait) to kiss the Blarney stone at the top of the castle.  We opted to skip the kissing of the stone and instead spent more time in Kinsale which turned out to be a beautiful coastal Irish town.  Plus we had one of the best meals of our trip at the Spaniard in the Kinsale hills overlooking the bay.  Not a bad day for sure.

Blarney Castle.  If you look at the very top, that is where the kissing stone is located.

This is actually a residence located on the Blarney Castle grounds where the current family that owns the Estate lives.  They wouldn't let children tour the place so not sure what the inside looked like.  The outside was amazing.
