Our final days in Cabo

What a super fun spring break.  Our hotel turned out to be super fun (we met tons of people from around the world, got guac/chips/margaritas for the local bar next door delivered to the pool every afternoon, found some amazing places to eat within walking distance, and had wonderful service by everyone we came in contact with).  Plus Lily got tattoos and hair braids.  What could be more perfect.

Dolphin Adventure

We were lucky enough to book an excursion for Lily to swim with the Dolphins.  It was amazing that they spent an entire hour hanging out with the dolphins.  Very cool.  Oh and there was some cool parrots that Lily got to hold and kiss too.

Beach, San Juan and Todo Santos (yes, the real Hotel California)

Lily thoroughly enjoying her beach time
Yep, that's a henna tattoo drying on her arm
Next day a trip to Todos Santos to visit the cute artist community & The Hotel California!

Cabo Day 1

Boat ride to see El Arco in a glass bottom boat first thing in the morning.  Complete with fish, pelican and sea lion viewing.  Beautiful.

Other People's Spring Break

The hard part about living at the beach is that our spring break is not during anyone else's.  Lily took an extra days off school here and there.  We were out to dinner mid week (which never happens) and we even got to meet friends in D.C. for a day at Six Flags.  Loads of fun for not even being on Spring Break yet.
Nature walks - Eagle by our Nature Center

Out at the club with Katie, Karen & Kacey

Lily and Simone at Six Flags

Can you guess why I didn't want to ride this thing... well we all did anyhow and had to wear our sweatshirts the rest of the day

Fun with friends in Delaware

Lily loves spending time with her friends in Delaware.  Whether its cooking, playing, easter egg hunting, etc.

Danielle's Baby Shower

Over the March 24th weekend, we headed back to Illinois to enjoy some awesome family time.  We got to got to attend Danielle's baby shower, go out to dinner with the entire family and get some quality time with Aunt Jodi.  We even got to hang out and just watch some TV and play games.  Definitely relaxing until we had to drive 13 hours to get home.

A Day Off School?

At the beginning of March, Lily had a random day off school.  It felt last minute, but I'm sure it had been on the calendar the whole year and I just neglected to acknowledge it.  Regardless, we made the best of it by taking Lily and her friend Alex to the Bowling Alley/Arcade/Laser Place.  They had great time playing the claw machine of course.
