Reading Time

Yes I know she is only a baby but she loves the stories and pays attention better than I expected. And while it looks like she is pointing in reality she is about to smack me in the face...again.

Lily is 20 weeks old today!

Yes our cute little Gerber baby is twenty weeks old today. Time is flying by. She is growing and changing every day. You can see below that she is now sitting in her "big girl" car seat. We are getting her used to the big one because she officially grew out of her infant car seat already. She is over the 26 inch height limit and pretty darned close to the 20 lb weight limit. So, its time for the big girl car seat even if she can't fully sit up by herself yet. I was hoping to keep her in the small one until winter is over, but no luck.

Yes, I am cute just like my shirt says.
Hanging out playing on the floor, part of my daily routine.
First time wearing a head band, dad hated it, but I sure think I'm cute.
Trying out my big girl car seat.
Enjoying my evening bath.

A few more pictures of the Happy Baby (and sleepy sometimes too)

I like playing on my blanket on the floor a lot
Yes, I am so cute in dress up clothes

Look at my fuzzy head!

Our Happy Babe!

This weekend was fantastic with Lily. She discovered her toes, her tongue, and a few more sounds we haven't heard. She is definitely fascinated with her tongue now. I hope she outgrows it. She hasn't stopped growing. Last night she slept 10.5 hours without waking up at all. What lucky parents we are. Doesn't she look like a big girl in her new high chair?

Lily is 4 months

Saturday is Lily's official 4 month birthday. We spent most the day just hanging out at our apartment in Batesville. We got a bad snow storm Friday and Saturday morning. About 8 inches of snow. So we decided it was a good weekend to stay put. We put a 9 month sleeper on Lily (see below) and it barely fits her. Wow. She is still happy as ever. Teething a little makes her grumpy, but the Orajel fixes her right up. No teeth have poked through yet. As I sit here writing this... the little bugger rolled over for the first time. I was sitting there telling her dad she was so close to being able to roll over and two seconds later she did it. We are definitely going to have to child proof the house and apartment now.

Lily learns to hold her own bottle

This morning our little independent girl thought she would hold her own bottle. She kept putting it in and pulling it out. It was hilarious. She is getting more grown up every day. Unfortunately for her parents she is sleeping a lot (must be growing again), so we are missing our evening play time.
