Trip to Oregon for Courtney's Graduation

This last weekend we spent a long five day weekend in Oregon celebrating Courtney's graduation from Portland State.  The big news is that Courtney landed an Assistant Coaching job for the girls basketball team at Willamette University.  Go Bearcats!  Lily also got the opportunity to spend week #2 with more family.  She got to see Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, friends and so many cousins.  Everyone was so kind to her.  The weather was beautiful the day we had Courtney's party, but it was a cold spell after that.  Yes we woke up one more to 45 degree weather.  Ugh!  Then we came back to 90-100 degree weather in D.C.  I felt like I was thawing out a bit.

The Dixon's Visit

We were lucky this last week (well two weeks ago now) to have Scott, Tish, Madison & Michael visit. What fun we had.  Lily was in heaven playing with her cousins.  We got to spend some great time in D.C. then headed to the beach.  What a fun week!

Memorial Day 2012

We were able to spend the three day Memorial Day weekend at the beach house.  What a fantastic weekend it was.  The weather was absolutely perfect and we got to enjoy the opening weekend of the wave pool in our community.  Lily loved having all the other kids around to play with and met many new friends as long as enjoying spending some time with some old friends.

Must have a banana between the indoor pool and the outdoor pool.

Enjoying the wave pool for the first time (everyday!)

Enjoying Springtime

I know it isn't fair to update a month's worth of posts at one time, but we get so busy that it is hard not too.  We've had an excellent spring in the D.C. area.  Full of lots of nice weather.  Lily has discovered the sprinkler and the fact that it isn't just for mowing the lawn.  We've also hit lots of local hangouts to enjoy as well.  Went to the zoo one weekend, but we have so many zoo pictures that we stopped taking them.

Lily went down this huge slide all by herself.  I don't think it is meant to be for two year olds, but she wanted to... so why not.
