Day 2 of Ireland took us to a beautiful castle and grounds that they say are in the top two of European gardens (second only to Versailles in Paris). The grounds were in fact very beautiful and worthy of many pictures. Powerscourt was also near the seaside town of Bray where we had a lovely lunch. Then we finished off the day with a drive through on the Military Road through the Wicklow mountains. 1.25 lanes, lots of traffic, gruelling driving on the Military Road but Chris did great (even while driving on the wrong side of the road). Lily had a great time at Powerscourt finding all the fairy dust that the fairies left at ever turn it seemed.
