Last weekend we got the chance to visit the National Zoo in D.C. Its a fantastic zoo with great animal viewing options. It has the famous panda's of course, but they didn't come out to play all that much. The ape exhibit was fantastic, with three adults (one large male) and a beautiful little baby ape. I think we wore Lily out after being there for three hours as she fell asleep on the way back to the car. Oh, and the zoo is free (except parking). What a great deal!
