A Friday off School

On March 3rd, Lily got to enjoy an extra Friday off school.  It was a bit of a surprise, but we definitely made the most of it.  Lily was joined by her buddy Alex at our new bowling alley/arcade.  The kids had a great time and even won some stuffed animals.

Weekend in D.C.

When we decided to move to the beach, I remember having a conversation with Lily about moving and she was all in, as long as we could go back to D.C. at least five times per year.  So, whenever our house is not rented over there, we have a tendency to break away for the weekend.  This particular weekend, we actually got caught up on all our house maintenance items and now have a little more time to just enjoy D.C.  Lily got to play all weekend long with her friend Rut, she got to go to her friend Sarah's birthday party and we even had enough time to squeeze in a dinner at Lily's favorite Japanese steakhouse.  It was a super fun weekend.

Reading with the dogs

Lily has joined a weekly group at the Rehoboth Public Library every that reads to some awesome dogs (and their owners) every Wednesday night.  She has gone 4 times now and loves it.  Her favorite dogs are Sammy and Bruce.  The librarian and the dog owners were amazed at how well she reads her first night.  What 7 year old knows how to pronounce Eucalyptus.  I suppose it helps that she's been to Australia and loves Koala's.

Utah Aquarium

Sounds crazy I know... visiting an Aquarium in Utah... but the place was great and kept us entertained for well over 4 hours.

Snow Fun

There was some great snow adventures in Park City.  From tubing at Gorgoza to mini snow mobile riding for Lily to sledding behind our condo and making snow men & snow angels.  Lily sure loves the snow.

Park City

For Presidents Day weekend, or should I say a very extended weekend, we got to fly out to Park City and enjoy all the fun activities we love in the snow.  Lily had a blast and we got a few things done around the condo too (new flooring in the living room, all the carpet stretched, etc.).  It was certainly an activity filled week

Another awesome Christmas in Florida

It seems each time we go to our Florida house, it just keeps getting better and better.  I'm sure it is the awesome company we always seem to have.  But honestly, the house is pretty darned great too.

We were super lucky to have Grandma Merry, Papa Ronnie, Aunt Jodi and Andy down this year.  Only wish they could have stayed longer.

During our stay we accomplished much and still got to be tourist every day as well.  We did the epoxy layer on our garage floor which turned out great.  Now we have a really clean garage that I we are very proud of.  We also finally got the walls built up around the outdoor shower so if you want to take a full on naked shower outside no one will see you.

Of course we made it to Sanibel and got to Bonita or Barefoot Beaches each and every day.  Other items to note:  We found more shells in 3 hours one day (just after the new moon), Lily and Chris went parasailing up to 1200 feet.  Lily got to go twice because another group on the boat needed a little extra weight.  She loved it!  Next time we are definitely doing the jet ski dolphin trip.

Here are some pictures of our trip
