When you get to spend two weeks in a place, you really do get to enjoy some particular things that you might not get to see on shorter visits. It makes these long stays so fun to live a bit more like the locals do. On this particular day we got to enjoy the Carrières de Lumières in LES
BAUX-DE-PROVENCE. It is an old stone quarry in a very ancient French City that was abandoned in the 1930s. Recently, it was refurbished (in 2012) as a cultural space where they show these amazing artistic multi-media shows on the walls of the quarry. It truly was an experience I have seen no where else. And I think Lily enjoyed it as much as I did. Plus the drive to the town was awesome.
And of course we ended the day at the Patisserie
