Veterans Day weekend in Illinois

Baby Silas was already five months old and Lily and I hadn't gotten to squeeze her little cheeks... so we headed to Illinois for the Veterans Day weekend.  I must admit the drive to and fro was a little more than I bargained for, but it was worth it to spend some time with beloved family.
