Our first real full day in Paris was spent with a tour of Notre Dame, followed by lunch and art viewing at the Musee D'Orsay. Next up was a walk across Pont des Arts (where they have all the locks on the bridge) through the bridge, a stop for Macaroons at Laduree and then a walk down our street Rue Saint Honore which is one of the nicest shopping districts in all Paris. Of course, we were priced out of most shops, but it was fun to window shop.
So you know those MasterCard commercials that talk about a travel experience being "Priceless"? Well this trip comes as close to "Priceless" as I've ever experienced. Spending a couple weeks in London in Paris with my BFF Ahren, her daughter and my daughter, as well as a special niece could not be any better. Definitely "priceless".
