This last weekend we were lucky enough to have our wonderful neighbors (Don, Holly, Sam & Chloe) from our beach house in Delaware come visit us in DC. Sam and Lily have been friends since they were two now, so they are like old buddies. They live full time in Wilmington, DE so it was only a short couple hour drive for them and since they stayed with us for two full days we had lots of time to enjoy being tourists. The first day, after all the kids arrival excitement, we headed downtown to spend some time at the museums. We hit the kids favorite's Museum of Natural History and Air/Space Museum. The parents had just as great of a time as the kids did. Then we got to enjoy some great Mexican food in Bethesda before capping the night off with some Georgetown cupcakes. The kids got a little sugared up from the cupcakes right before bed. Maybe not such a good idea.
