Hanging out with friends

February has been the month of friends, friends and more friends.  Movies, bowling, trampoline jumping, etc.  We got a few stolen days were we could head outside, but there was definitely some quality time inside having party after party.  Yep, Lily is a sucker for a party... and boy does she have a way of suckering me into every weekend.  Add sitting outside at four or five cookie booths and it was nearly enough to send me to the looney bin.  Definitely not a boring life.

Why not go to the beach in February

Yes, it was a little chilly, but the sun was out so why not head to the beach.

While we had lots of help making cookies, cupcakes and cakes for Valentines Day... these girls still put me to the test with some heart shaped macaroons.  But boy did everyone have a lot of fun (and a lot of goodies to take home).

Weekend in DC

The last weekend in January, Chris had to work in DC unfortunately, but we made the most of it and spent the weekend in a hotel up there.  Lily got to have Rut over and we all had a super time enjoying restaurants, shopping the National Zoo and just hanging out.
