Birthday Party Time

This time of year is birthday party time for all of Lily's friends.  This last Saturday she was lucky enough to hit the BounceU for another great birthday party for her friend Lluc.  It was a great birthday.

Labor Day Fun - Part 3 (the end of summer)

On Sunday we headed to Rehoboth Beach and had a fantastic time enjoying the beach area before heading home for dinner at friends and then the end of season fireworks (were we have a great view from our front deck).  Chance and Jewel headed home so the house was a little quieter but it gave us time to watch some girls shows and spend quality time with Aunt Jodi & Karli before they headed home.  It was such a great end to the summer.  We feel so incredibly lucky.

Labor Day Fun - Part 2

On Saturday afternoon we had five families, extended families and friends all get together for a fantastic beach party.  There was kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, limbo games, bubbles, crabbing, sand castle building... and of course some amazing food and even better friendship building.  We were able to bring Karli and Jodi along, as well as our friends Chance and Jewel.  It was an awesome way to spend the end of the summer.

Labor Day Fun - Part 1

We were so lucky this Labor Day to enjoy a visit from Jodi and Karli from Illinois.  I was lucky to get to take Karli and Jodi for lunch at Zatinya, one of my favorite DC foodie restaurants.  They were as impressed as I always am and the fruity drink really topped off a nice Thursday afternoon for me.  They were more impressed however in seeing how much Lily had grown though.  Thursday night we headed to Baltimore to enjoy some more good food.  Then Friday we headed out of town for our Labor Day beach weekend.  Saturday morning started off a little cloudy, but the weather improved quickly and we had an awesome day.
