Heading out for Christmas

I can't believe Christmas is almost here. My blogging activities have been poor to say the least lately. I won't be too hard on myself given all that has been going on... Searching for a new job, quitting an old one, searching for a new house, selling an old house, dealing with more interior designers than I could ever imagine. Our newly remodeled kitchen has turned out beautifully and will hopefully sell the house.

In the meantime, our little Lily is still the most fun part of every day.

Lily's Fall!

Our little girl continues to just grow and grow. Nearly right in front of our eyes. Her hair is getting a little crazy (kind of looks like dad's) but her personality is all mom (definitely an on/off switch). She got her 9th tooth this last week, working on 10 thru 12 now. She is still a happy baby despite biting mom and her babysitter on occasion. As you can see, she is definitely her father's daughter.

Our weekend at the Pumpkin Patch

We had a great time at the pumpkin patch. Lily was a little tired, but still did great. The turkey running around was particularly interesting. She wasn't as much into decorating the pumpkins as we were, but at least we tried.

Lily's First Birthday

Thanks to all the Dixon's & Aeschelman's... Lily had a fantastic first birthday.

Fall is here...

Yes, we pulled out the Halloween and other fall gear. Some of it I bought last year and is completely the wrong size. Who would have thought she would have been grown out of 18 month clothes already. Oh well, she wore them once (with her belly hanging out). We had a challenging weekend. Lots of travel: North of Indy to pick out our kitchen granite, then to Kings Island for a work function, then to the outlet mall (no clue why... Kim shopped and Lily slept the entire time). We are trying to change from formula to whole milk and get rid of her bottle all at the same time. Tried cold turkey and that didn't work so well. So, we are trying a mix of milk and formula and using the bottle before sleep times. We are such push overs.

Lily is almost one!

Time sure flies. Our little bug is almost 1 year old. She is definitely acting her age. Lots of walking and playing. Eating rocks at the park, and generally having fun.

I'm terrible for not posting more pictures from August. We had a fantastic month. So many exciting things. Lily is walking now and is still so happy.

Trip to the Zoo

This weekend we were lucky enough to get a break in the heat and hit the zoo on Sunday. It was a very fun family day for us. Lily enjoyed the monkeys, the red panda, and especially the ride on the carousel with her dad. She had a little snooze during the visit, but had a great time none the less.

Yes our baby is growing up. She is getting so big and beautiful. She has 7 teeth now, is crawling all over and is thinking about walking soon. Hopefully no too soon though.
