Not sure how I convinced myself that this was a good idea, but I drove from Delaware to San Antonio, TX to deliver a car to Courtney. The first day I drove 17 hours (yikes), but it put me in a good spot to be able to pick up Ahren Carpenter the following day in San Antonio. Thanks to Courtney having her apartment still in San Antonio (in addition to her new one in Austin), Ahren and I overnighted in San Antonio to take in the sights before we picked up Venita the following day in Austin.
San Antonio really is a fantastic city. Dinner was amazing at Rosario's again. Then we headed out to hear some great live music at the Rustic. The following day we checked out the Pearl Area of San Antonio then headed downtown to the Alamo and Riverwalk.

Panama City Beach Sunsets
I thought these photos needed a post all themselves. The sunsets from our deck on Panama City Beach are magical.
Panama City Beach 2019
Last year our visit to Panama City Beach felt like much more work than play with all the painting, tiling, bead boarding that we did. This year, we had our partners in crime to help us with our work items so we knocked it out quick and got to enjoy some fun play time too. It was still way too short, but we had a fantastic time.
There were mermaid milk shakes from The Yard
There was some running on the beach at sunset
Some quasi exercise
Some amazing karaoke at Shukums
A few line dance moves with the college students from Wisconsin
Ignore the half naked mermaid in the background
A 10 minute photo challenge
Early morning easter delivery
Beautiful views from our balcony
Lily's artistic self
Lily is definitely artistic in more than one way. Chalk art on the drive way. Easter cookies. And sushi. What an amazing 9 year old she has turned into.
Beach day in Delaware
Spring has finally sprung. And what a perfect day to hit the beach at Rehoboth (and get carmel corn & candy & well... all the bad boardwalk stuff).
