Some more pics from Lily at 7 months

She is now nearly 25 pounds and 29 inches long. You should see her tummy hanging over her diaper and her rolley polley legs. They are the cutest.

Practicing my pole dancing on the table. Dad thinks its not a good professional choice.
Me and mom having some happy time.
Looks at my squirrel cheeks. Lots of nuts in there.
I like to put my fingers in dad's nose. Dad doesn't like it so much though.
Sometimes I smile so big I can't even keep my eyes open.

2 Weeks Gone By

It seems the time goes by so very fast. Maybe because we have so much to enjoy. Our little girl is really growing up. She is starting to get quite the personality. Two weeks ago for Mothers Day, Grandma Merry & Grandpa Ronnie came for a visit from Illinois. It was a wonderful weekend. But Lily discovered screaming for the first time. I guess she has figured out that she has a voice that can make loud noises. We try to shhh her, but don't think she understands or cares. We'll see who wins this battle over the next several years. Lily continues to be a happy baby. She has also discovered that she likes to stand now as well. I think she may end up walking before she crawls.

Yes, I have beautiful blue eyes.

I like to use my feet to play

I don't think she could be any happier.

More Pictures

Lily wants to stand now so we got her a little toy to help. Look at her crazy hair.
Mommy got a haircut. Looks like Lily needs one.
My new bath tub because I grew out of the old one. Now the winnie the pooh is freakin' me out.

Our Little Girl is Growing Up So Fast

Lily continues to grow and display more and more personality each day. She is sleeping well, despite her parents spoiling tendencies. She is definitely still a very happy baby. She now gives kisses (slobbery but sweet) and she even waved good bye to her mom last night.

Major Changes for our Little Family

Two teeth, swim lessons, sitting up by herself already, and eating all kinds of baby food are just a few of the exciting things we have experienced these last several weeks. We had a great weekend. Weather was sunny, but a little chilly (60 degrees). Saturday, Chad, Stef & Loren came to visit which was very exciting for Lily. We went for lunch, shopped and just hung out. Sunday we went on a 7 mile walk on the Monon trail and then went to some open houses at some condo's (don't ask why). Lily was a fantastic baby all weekend long. What a joy she is.

I can sit all by myself now. For five minutes at a time. Check out my belly hanging over my diaper in this picture.
Yes, I am a happy baby...
Swim lessons are great. No crying, but haven't quite mastered the breast stroke. Not sure who is whiter (mom or Lily)
I love laying on the blankets from my Grandma Norma. I roll all over them and play with my toys.

Lily is changing...

This week the little bug got her first two teeth, a mere 3 days apart. Yes, it made her a little grumpier at night than normal but the teeth are so stinking cute. Both on the bottom. Looks like the top ones aren't far behind.

Lily is also eating baby food now. Vegetables to start and now some fruit. Boy, are those peas messy.

And finally, you can see her learning to sit up below. These were taken last week. Tonight she sat up all by herself for multiple minutes before falling over. What a big girl she is becoming.

Lily doing a soccer pose (actually she thinks she is a monkey who needs to use her feet to do everything)
I feel bad about her knee hi socks, but... at least she is warm.
Check out my fuzzy blonde hair

Easter Weekend

We had a fantastic Easter weekend. Went to Chicago Friday - Sunday with our good friend Courtney. The food was fantastic and the weather was excellent as well. Ate at some favorites (Ann Sather, Vermillion, etc) and tried a few new places (Yolk was yummy for breakfast, definitely a repeat). Lily got a new "City Stroller" that will be perfect for our trip to Europe next month. Mom and Dad got a few new things during a shopping day as well. Definitely a wonderful and needed three day weekend.
